本项目距离北京市中心仅一小时向北车程，酒店被广阔的用地，森林和新鲜空气所环抱。总体布局基本思路是尊重自然。建筑顺应地形依山而建，客人从城市道路蜿蜒到达酒店前广场，这既是消化场地高差功能性的需要，也是让客人从喧嚣的城市过渡到宁静的自然之中的心理过渡。前广场是由酒店大堂和中餐区、宴会和会议区、泳池和SPA区三个功能区环抱，形成中心服务区。中心服务区向南向北，建筑体型化整为零，分别形成台地化的北客房区、南客房区，北客房两侧观山，南客房一侧观山一侧面对和住宅区围合的中心景观区。

项目位于历史积淀深厚的北京，这里有皇家建筑故宫和颐和园，也有民居四合院，建筑师研究了北方传统建筑的型制和建造逻辑。建成后的整体效果呈现出来的建筑风貌有严整的建筑比例尺度，也有传统建筑构件的现代表达。有对传统建筑精髓的精神传承，也有对现代建造技艺的技法的重新审视。实现了古典美和现代气息兼备的设计目标。

The project is only an hour north drive from the center of Beijing. The hotel is surrounded by vast land, forests and fresh air. The basic idea of the overall layout is to respect nature. The building conforms to the terrain and is built according to the mountains. The guests meander from the city road to the square in front of the hotel. This is not only the need to follow the functional difference of the site, but also the transition from the noisy city to the peaceful nature. The front square is surrounded by three functional areas: the hotel lobby and the Chinese restaurant, the banquet and conference room, the swimming pool and the SPA area, forming a central service area. The central service area faces south to north, and the shape of the building is breaking one piece into components, forming a terraced north guest room area and a south guest room area. Both sides of the north guest room overlook the mountain, and the south guest room faces both the mountain side and the central landscape area.

The project is located in Beijing, which has a long history of accumulation. There are the Imperial Palace and the Summer Palace, as well as the residential courtyard houses. The architects studied the types and construction logic of traditional northern buildings. The overall appearance of the building after its completion has a strict scale of architectural proportions, as well as modern expressions of traditional building components. There is a spiritual inheritance of the essence of traditional architecture, as well as a re-examination of modern construction techniques. The hotel achieved the design goals of both classical beauty and modern flavor.
