本项目为京报集团办公楼，从本身新闻采编的性质出发，并不希望完全被周边环境“协调”而是显示其特性。但其周边建筑环境较复杂，在这种多样的建筑形态环境中，本方案力求以一种平和的姿态与之协调，采用净化的手法面对复杂的城市关系。简单和纯净不仅能够最有利的协调多种建筑形式，并且还能够突显新闻中心的存在，在协调中追求自我。

本项目标准办公空间采用极简的设计理念，创造性的采用16米单跨大进深的平面形式，这种无柱开敞空间达到最大的灵活、便捷与高效性，特别适合新闻机构多变，快捷的工作性质。建筑内部空间的开敞统一性使工作组团单元化，模数化成为可能。本项目设备管线在南侧短跨内，穿梁进入开敞办公空间。这种利用梁高与机电系统巧妙结合的方法带来统一净高的开阔办公空间使隔断高度统一并且模数化，这意味着建筑空间可按照使用功能的要求和发展灵活变化，并且这种无限变化产生出丰富，活力而独特的办公环境。

This project, the office building of Beijing Daily Group, is not expected to be completely assimilated by the surrounding environment but to show its distinguished characteristics due to the nature of its own news gathering and editing. However, this project strives to integrate into the complicated and diverse architectural surroundings in a peaceful way, and to adapt to the complex urban community with a purification technique. Simplicity and purity can not only coordinate multiple architectural forms most beneficially, but also highlight the news center in pursuit of its own value in coordination.

Under the minimalist design concept for the standard office space, this project creatively adopts a 16-meter single-span and large depth plan. This column-free open space leads to maximum flexibility, convenience and efficiency, which is especially suitable for the changeable and fast work of news organizations. The openness and unity of the interior space of the building make unified and modularized work teamwork available. The equipment pipeline of this project is in the short span on the south side, passing through beams into the open office space. This ingenious combination of girder height and the electromechanical system produces an open office space with a uniform net height, which results in unified and modularized partitions in the office, meaning that the building space can be flexibly changed in accordance with the requirements and development of its function and that such infinite changes produce a rich, dynamic and unique office environment.
