本项目是国家倡导的粤港澳大湾区基础设施“硬联通”和机制“软联通”的标志性工程，是澳门回归二十周年的节点工程。项目由内澳间客货检通关设施、内澳双向立体交通枢纽、城市综合管廊及相关配套建筑、桥梁隧道和交通场站组成。是目前国内通关模式最先进的口岸，也是唯一的客货查验通道均实现 “合作查验一次放行”的国家一类口岸；是国内首个实现在同一建筑内同时满足内澳双方通关功能、满足双方法律管辖、满足双方建设规范的两地共用、授权分管的单体建筑；设计采用多层面立体化交通设计、出入境大厅分层设计、双层立体查验场设计等一系列开创性设计，保证通关最便捷，土地集约化利用水平大幅提升，成为粤港澳大湾区基础设施互联互通的新典范和新标杆。

The project is a landmark project for "hard connectivity" of infrastructure and "soft connectivity" of mechanism initiated by China in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and a node project for the 20th Anniversary of Macao's Return to China. The project is composed of passenger and freight inspection customs clearance facilities between the Mainland and Macao, Mainland and Macao bi-directional three-dimensional transportation hub, urban comprehensive pipe galleries and relevant supporting buildings, bridges, tunnels and traffic stations It is a port with the most advanced customs clearance mode in China at present, and also a unique national first-class port where all passenger and freight inspection channels realize "release by cooperated inspection once"; It is China's first individual building shared by both parties and authorized for separate control, which realizes to meet customs clearance function of both parties the Mainland and Macao, legal jurisdiction of both parties, and the construction specification of both parties simultaneously in the same building. It is designed to use a series of groundbreaking designs such as multi-layer three-dimensional traffic design, departure and entry hall layered design, dual-layer three-dimensional inspection yard design to ensure most convenient customs clearance and sharp increase of land intensive utilization level and become a new model and a new benchmark for connectivity of infrastructures in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
