方案创意来源于对柬埔寨丰富民族元素与传统精神的理解和深入解读，同时把“合十礼”、古代建筑屋脊、吴哥窟护城河等传统元素融合其中，创作出一个内涵丰富、形式简洁有力的现代体育场形象。依据“安全、实用、经济、美观”的设计原则，将体育建筑的使用功能与建筑美学完美结合。通过大平台、索网幕墙、膜结构罩棚、吊塔拉索等一系列先进的结构和构造手段，打造出多功能、现代化，同时环境友好的综合体育建筑。
