解放军总医院海南分院是解放军总医院建院60年以来首次整建制异地建设分院，是支持国家建设国际旅游岛发展战略，为高端人群进行保健康复服务、提升海南省社会医疗服务水平，并为南海边防前沿基地提供医疗救治保障的重点工程。项目设计因地制宜，打造适应热带环境的医疗功能体系，通过适宜性的绿色建筑技术和措施、先进的智能机电设施以及人文式、人性化的疗养环境和景观，从规划设计理念、施工过程控制、节能技术措施、环保材料选用等全方位、全过程体现了绿色医院建筑在特定环境下的实践，成为与周边世界级的热带自然景观和资源相结合的现代化绿色医院的典范，是中国现代化医院建设的重要里程碑。

Hainan Hospital of PLA General Hospital was the first sub-campus of the PLA General Hospital since its establishment 60 years ago. It was a development strategy to support the construction of an international tourist island, provide health and rehabilitation services for high-end populations, improve the level of social medical services in Hainan Province,serve the South China Sea and provide medical treatment guarantee for the South China Sea Defense Frontier Base. Based on local conditions, the Project was to create a medical function system adapting to the tropical environment. Through appropriate green building technologies and measures, advanced intelligent E&M facilities, and humanistic and humanized recuperation environment and landscape, the green hospital was embodied under special environment in the aspects of planning and design concepts, construction process control,energy-saving technical measures, environmentally friendly materials, etc. So,it has become a model of a modern green hospital combined with the surrounding world-class tropical natural landscape and resources and an important milestone in the construction of a modern hospital in China.
