河北省人民医院是具有悠久历史的医院，其设计是在既有院址基础上进行改扩建的典范。设计在前期总体规划时制定了“ 一次规划，分期实施，分轻重缓急统筹安排”的策略，在逐步建设实施先进、合理功能布局的同时，充分考虑实施的可行性、医院自身正常运行周转的可操作性，合理安排建设步骤。通过近二十年的持续更新，坚持“一张蓝图绘到底”，原则，现已建设成为一所具有全新功能格局、医疗流程先进、面向未来发展的现代化医疗综合体，发挥了河北省区域医疗核心的重要作用。

The People's Hospital of Hebei Province has a long history. Its design is a model of reconstruction and expansion on the basis of the existing hospital site. During the preliminary master plan, the strategy of "planning once, implementation in phases, and prioritized and overall arrangement" was formulated. While advanced and reasonable functional layouts were carried out during gradual construction, full consideration was given to feasibility and operability of the hospital's normal operation and turnover so as to reasonably arrange the construction steps. Through nearly two decades of continuous updating, the principle of "drawing a blueprint to the end" was observed all the way. At present, it has been built into a modern medical complex with new functional patterns, advanced medical procedures and future-oriented development and has played the important role of regional medical care in Hebei Province.
